Senior Accountant Financial Reporting Full Time

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting team, responsible for supporting US GAAP financial reporting, SEC-style disclosures, and executive reporting deliverables.

This role will play a key part in preparing mock 10-Q/10-K filings, financial statement disclosures, earnings materials, and Audit Committee reporting, while partnering cross-functionally across global finance teams.

Note: Looking someone who is comfortable to work in shift: UK hours (2 PM – 11 PM IST/3 PM – 12 AM IST) and flexibility during close/audit cycles. This Position is Onsite in Pune.

Responsibilities:

External & Financial Reporting:

• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting financials, including mock 10-Q / 10-K
• Draft financial statements (IS, BS, SOCF, SOSE, OCI)
• Prepare footnotesfor example – revenue, leases, debt, balance sheet details, taxes, intangibles, contingencies
• Support MD&A-style analysis (results of operations, KPIs, variance analysis)

Earnings Materials :

• Support Non-GAAP reconciliations and earnings release support
• Support GAAP to Non-GAAP bridge analysis

Audit & Controls:

• Support external audits and prepare audit schedules
• Assist with SOX and internal controls

Executive Reporting:

• Support Audit Committee and Board materials

Research:

• Research accounting disclosures
• Support new accounting standards
• Analytics & Process Improvement:
• Proactively identify opportunities to automate the process, leveraging AI & other tools. Supporting Leadership in driving process simplification & process efficiency

Requirements:

• CA / CPA / MBA (Finance)
• 4–7+ years experience in financial reporting or audit
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Experience with financial statements and audit
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
• Reporting Systems experience – Active Disclosure, Workiva preferred.
