Job Description
Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will independently manage assigned clients and oversee accounting, compliance, and financial reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Finalisation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- End-to-end bookkeeping review and ledger scrutiny
- Handling of GST compliance (GSTR-1, 3B, annual returns, 2A/2B reconciliation)
- TDS calculation, payment, and quarterly filings (24Q/26Q)
- Bank reconciliation and fund monitoring
- Supervision of junior accountants
- Preparation of MIS reports and financial analysis under the guidance of the Manager
- Payroll review and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT – as applicable)
Required Qualifications & Skills
- M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
- Strong expertise in GST, TDS, PF & ESI
- Proficiency in Tally
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions)
- Ability to manage multiple clients independently
- Strong accuracy and deadline adherence
