Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Jalgaon. The Senior Accountant will manage financial operations, including GST filing, tax compliance, and advanced accounting tasks using Tally ERP and Tally Prime. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with regulatory and compliance documentation. The candidate will also support process improvement initiatives and adopt Zoho Books as part of the organization’s evolving financial tools.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software including Tally ERP, Tally Prime, and experience or interest in learning Zoho Books
- Strong expertise in GST and Taxation, including compliance and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling
- Detail-oriented with experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to adapt to new accounting tools and systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications, such as CA Intermediate or similar, are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
