Senior Analyst, Billing Operations

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India | Full-Time

About The Role

Insightsoftware is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Billing Operations team. In this role, you will serve as a key resource in delivering accurate, timely billing and exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a candidate who has expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C), billing, dispute management, adjustments, and order management, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage complex customer accounts, queries, and billing adjustments with precision and care.
• Review pending billing reports and validate charges for accuracy prior to processing invoices.
• Verify customer billing rules and revenue recognition schedules against contracts to ensure compliance and correctness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Customer Success, and division leaders to generate accurate pro forma and actual invoices from the billing ERP.
• Monitor and manage accounts, orders, accounting, and fulfillment case queues to ensure timely resolution.
• Confirm appropriate customer approvals are in place before processing orders.
• Oversee license key generation and fulfillment delivery to customers.
• Deliver an outstanding service experience to both internal teams and external customers.
• Balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in Order Management or a related O2C function.
• Experience in the software industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with internal and external partners.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
