About the Team

The Treasury – Investments team at Navi is responsible for managing the company’s treasury with a focus on ensuring liquidity, managing financial risk, and overseeing day-to-day banking operations. The team also plays a critical role in creating and executing investment strategies to optimize returns.

About the Role

This role is central to managing day-to-day treasury operations through Investment Management systems, perform regular reconciliation of investment data, including holdings, deal listings, and other key reports to ensure data integrity. Maintain and update security and counterparty data with high accuracy and compliance. Work closely with Finance, Back Office, and IT for smooth data flow and reporting. Continuously improve the investment management system to support evolving business needs.

What We Expect from You

Transaction Management:

• Execute and manage treasury transactions, including trade settlements, fund transfers, and funding Activities.
• Monitor and reconcile cash movements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Excel and Google Sheets Expertise:

• Utilize intermediate level Excel and Google Sheets functions
• Automate repetitive tasks to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.

Vendor Relationships:

• Interact with Investment system Vendor, financial institutions, and service providers to optimize Investment data input & output.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of treasury systems and operations.

Must Haves

• Fresher with bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to create basic macros & reconciliation sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and banking operations.
