Sr. Procurement Executive

Location: Gummidipoondi

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech / Diploma (Engineering preferred)
• 4–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain
• PCB or electronics industry experience preferred

Job Purpose

To execute and support end-to-end procurement activities including direct, indirect, and import sourcing for PCB manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Procurement

• Procure PCB raw materials such as laminates, copper foil, prepreg, chemicals, and solder mask
• Ensure uninterrupted material supply for production

Indirect Procurement

• Handle procurement of MRO items, consumables, packaging materials, and admin supplies

Import Procurement

• Support sourcing from global suppliers (China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, USA, Europe)
• Manage import documentation, logistics, and coordination

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain vendor relationships
• Track vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries

PO Management

• Create and manage purchase orders in ERP
• Monitor PR to PO cycle and ensure process efficiency

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare procurement reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Monitor inventory levels and procurement performance

Role

• Execute procurement operations for domestic and international sourcing
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely material availability
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, stores, finance)
• Drive vendor performance and continuous improvement

Key Skills

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of PCB/raw material procurement
• Experience in import procedures and documentation
• ERP/SAP knowledge for PO processing
• Analytical and reporting skills
• Effective communication and coordination
• Inventory planning and supply chain knowledge
