Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AGM / Senior Manager – Business Development with a strong background in Fabrication and Heavy Fabrication industries. The candidate should possess expertise in New Product Development (NPD), customer relationship management, technical discussions, and manufacturing processes including Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, Machining, and Assembly. The role involves driving business growth, acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and coordinating with Design, Production, and Quality teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in fabrication, heavy fabrication, industrial equipment, automotive, construction equipment, and engineering sectors.
2. Lead customer interactions, technical discussions, RFQ analysis, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
3. Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to production.
4. Review customer drawings and specifications, assess manufacturing feasibility, and provide technical solutions.
5. Prepare cost estimations, quotations, project plans, and business proposals based on fabrication requirements.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
7. Possess sound knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, Welding, Machining, Shot Blasting, Painting, and Assembly.
8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities to support strategic growth initiatives.
9. Drive sales targets, revenue growth, profitability, and business expansion plans.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution, quality compliance, and on-time delivery.
11. Participate in customer audits, technical reviews, and project meetings.
12. Ensure compliance with IMS standards, customer requirements, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
* B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
* MBA (Marketing/Operations) preferred
Experience
* 15–20+ years of experience in Business Development within Fabrication and Heavy Fabrication industries.
* Proven experience in handling OEM customers and industrial clients.
* Strong exposure to New Product Development (NPD) and project management.
