Role Purpose
The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure, Project Delivery & Software Operations is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the organization’s infrastructure, software delivery, and client-facing project functions. The role is accountable for ensuring stable and secure IT operations, effective management of client and stakeholder communications, strong team leadership, and the successful delivery of projects and software solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, governance, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee project delivery across infrastructure and software initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and service outcomes are achieved in accordance with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication on assigned projects, including requirements clarification, progress updates, issue management, expectation setting, and escalation handling.
• Provide leadership and direction to software, infrastructure, and technical support teams, including workforce planning, task prioritization, performance management, coaching, and capability development.
• Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of network infrastructure, AWS cloud environments, dedicated servers, backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and server security controls.
• Drive software delivery governance, working closely with development, QA, implementation, and support teams to ensure coordinated release planning, testing readiness, deployment execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to support delivery excellence and long-term service performance.
• Establish and maintain project and operational documentation, including status reports, risk registers, action logs, technical records, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor service and project performance, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and implement corrective or preventive actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, service governance standards, security requirements, and applicable business procedures.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, software project management, delivery management, or a related leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing client communications, cross-functional teams, and multiple concurrent projects in a service-driven or technology environment.
• Exposure in managing overseas projects across Southeast Asia, the USA, and the Gulf region, with the ability to coordinate cross-border teams, vendors, stakeholders, and client communications across different time zones and business environments.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, AWS or cloud platforms, dedicated servers, backup and recovery processes, and server security practices.
• Demonstrated capability in software team management, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and structured project governance.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior management, clients, and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications in Project Management, Agile delivery, Cloud platforms, Networking, or IT Service Management would be advantageous.
• Experience in hybrid project environments involving infrastructure implementation, software deployment, and managed service delivery.
• Familiarity with service-level management, change management, and continuous improvement practices.
