Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sonipat for a Senior Manager Supply Chain and Procurement. The role involves leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, material forecasting, inventory optimization, and on-time availability of raw materials, packaging, and consumables. The Senior Manager will oversee strategic and operational procurement, vendor selection and evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost optimization while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with production, quality, R&D, sales, and finance to align supply plans with business needs, as well as monitoring logistics, warehousing, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. The role also includes implementing and improving supply chain processes and systems, tracking KPIs, managing a team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in line with SPPL’s mission and certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, material requirement planning (MRP), inventory management, and logistics/warehousing oversight.
• Proven experience in strategic and operational procurement, including vendor development, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, preferably in polymers, chemicals, materials, or related process industries, with exposure to quality and EHS standards.
• Proficiency in ERP or supply chain systems, data analysis, and reporting, with the ability to use metrics and KPIs for decision-making and process improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, stakeholder collaboration across functions, and the ability to influence and drive change.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and analytical approach to complex operational challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations,
