Senior Manager – Taxation Full Time

YOUR TASKS

Lead the Tax Function across all Indian operations (2 Manufacturing plants + Corporate Office + 2 SEZs-D&D Centers), covering Direct & Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing (incl. APA), GST, SEZ, FEMA (Imports/Exports), and PLI incentives. Collaborate globally with the HELLA Group and manage a small tax team.

• Direct Taxation: Ensure compliance with corporate tax, withholding tax, advance tax; manage audits, assessments, tax provisioning & deferred tax reporting.
• Transfer Pricing: Lead TP documentation, related party transactions, segment reporting and TP Margins benchmarking for various international transactions, APA/MAP/Safe Harbor processes; align with global affiliates.
• Indirect Tax (GST & Customs): Oversee GST filings, audits, ITC, customs duties, import/export taxation, and SEZ compliance for the D&D Centers.
• PLI & Incentives: Manage claims and compliance for PLI and other central/state schemes.
• FEMA Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI/FEMA for cross-border payments, remittances, and documentation.
• Tax Planning & Advisory: Drive tax strategy; advise management on tax implications of business decisions.
• Litigation: Handle tax disputes, represent company before authorities, manage legal counsel coordination.
• Leadership: Lead and mentor tax team; collaborate with finance/ controlling, legal, and global tax teams.

Your Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA); additional tax certifications preferred.
• 8-12 years in corporate tax, GST, TP; MNC/manufacturing background preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Indian tax laws, SEZ, FEMA, PLI.
• Strong SAP, tax tech tools, and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership.
• High integrity and adaptability to regulatory changes.
