The Global Supply Management (GSM) organisation manages the end-to-end supply ecosystem across raw materials and finished goods globally. The team plays a critical role in ensuring supply agility, improving planning intelligence, and driving operational excellence across the global supply network.

We are looking for a Senior Planner – Supply Planning & Intelligence to support GSM’s next phase of AI-enabled and data-driven supply planning transformation. You will report to the Senior Manager – Global Supply Management and will focus on using Generative AI, advanced analytics, data engineering, and decision intelligence to enhance supply planning capabilities across the organisation.

You will be an important bridge between supply planning, data science, and technology teams. It will help build scalable digital solutions that improve planning visibility, accelerate decision-making, and unlock new insights from supply chain data.

This position is ideal for someone who combines strong supply chain understanding with deep analytical capability. This person should also possess data engineering skills and hands-on experience with emerging technologies. These latest technologies include Generative AI, AI agents, and advanced analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

AI-Enabled Supply Planning Intelligence

• Support the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions that enhance supply planning insights, inventory optimization, and decision intelligence.
• Build and implement Generative AI and AI-agent-based applications that assist planners in scenario analysis, root cause analysis, and operational decision support.
• Translate complex supply chain challenges into data-driven and AI-enabled analytical solutions that improve planning effectiveness.

Data Engineering & Supply Chain Data Intelligence

• Build frameworks for large-scale supply chain data integration, cleansing, mining, and enrichment across planning systems.
• Work with large datasets spanning demand, inventory, vendor capacity, production planning and logistics data to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop scalable data pipelines, analytical models, and structured data frameworks to support supply planning decision intelligence.

Digital Planning Systems and Automation

• Partner with planning technology platforms such as o9, Alteryx, SAP APO, and other planning tools to ensure deeper analytical capabilities.
• Develop automation solutions and analytical tools that enhance planner productivity and reduce manual planning tasks.
• Allow system-driven insights through predictive analytics, AI-enabled workflows, and intelligent planning tools.

Decision Intelligence & Leadership Support

• Provide structured analytical insights and scenario analysis to support GSM leadership in supply planning decisions.
• Translate complex data into clear operational insights and actionable recommendations for our partners.
• Support planning reviews and leadership discussions through data-driven planning intelligence.

Innovation & Digital Transformation

• Stay at the forefront of latest technologies, including Generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, and decision intelligence platforms.
• Support experimentation and pilot programmes to explore new AI capabilities in supply chain planning.
• Help build internal analytical and digital capabilities within GSM.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, supply planning systems, operations planning, or supply chain technology roles.
• Experience with supply planning, inventory planning, and supply network operations.
• Experience working with large supply chain datasets and advanced analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, data cleansing, data mining, and data modelling.
• Analytical or programming capability using Python, SQL, or similar data tools.
• Experience working with supply chain planning platforms such as o9, SAP APO, or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Data Science, or Analytics disciplines.
• Experience working with Generative AI frameworks (LLMs, Claude-type architectures), AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows, copilots, or decision support tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics techniques.
• Experience with analytics platforms such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
• Strong curiosity for latest technologies and ability to translate technology capabilities into value.
