HBox is an AI-driven virtual-first platform that helps specialty practices extend high-quality care to chronic patients at home. HBox Seamlessly combines state of the art Technology with End to End Care programs to create unique Virtual Clinic in a Clinic model that has been embraced by 200+ providers nationwide and growing 140% YoY.
We’re a fast-moving, outcomes-obsessed team that ships software with real consequences: better visits, cleaner claims, and healthier patients. If you’re excited about applying modern AI to a sector that genuinely needs it, you’ll feel at home here.
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll own a meaningful slice of the HBox product portfolio end-to-end — from discovery to launch to scale. You’ll partner closely with US-based clinical, operations, and go-to-market leaders, and lead a cross-functional pod of engineers, designers, data scientists, and AI/ML specialists out of Bengaluru.
This role is for someone who can think in customer journeys and prompt evals in the same conversation — equally comfortable in a clinic workflow review and a model-routing design discussion.
What You’ll Do
• Own the roadmap for your product area: define the strategy, write the PRDs, and drive the quarterly outcomes.
• Lead AI-first product development — scope LLM-powered features, design eval frameworks, and decide where AI helps vs. where it doesn’t.
• Run discovery with US clinicians, billers, and clinic operators; translate workflows into product opportunities and crisp problem statements.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship high-quality releases on a predictable cadence; make sharp trade-offs on scope, quality, and time.
• Define and instrument metrics — activation, adoption, accuracy, time-saved, revenue impact — and run a weekly cadence to act on them.
• Collaborate across geographies with US-based stakeholders; manage overlapping time zones with clear written communication.
• Be the voice of the customer internally — and the voice of the business externally when sitting in front of providers.
• Drive go-to-market readiness with sales, customer success, and clinical operations: launch plans, enablement, pricing input, and feedback loops.
What You’ll Bring
Must-haves
• 8 – 12 years of total experience, with 5+ years as a Product Manager owning a product or significant product area.
• Demonstrated ownership of at least one AI/ML-powered product feature in production — ideally with LLMs, NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Strong grasp of modern AI building blocks: prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evals, fine-tuning vs. prompting trade-offs, hallucination mitigation, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Exceptional product instincts: you can write a tight PRD, lead a discovery call, sketch a flow, and read a SQL query.
• Track record of shipping in a B2B or prosumer SaaS environment, with measurable outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can take a messy 60-minute conversation and produce a 1-page memo that aligns ten people.
• Comfort working with a US-based stakeholder set across overlapping time zones.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in US healthcare — provider workflow tools, EHR-adjacent products, telehealth, RCM, prior authorization, clinical documentation, or population health.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, HL7/FHIR, CPT/ICD-10, payer/provider dynamics, or US insurance basics.
• Background working with clinicians, medical coders, or billing teams as users.
• Prior experience in an early-to-growth-stage startup, ideally with a US customer base.
• Hands-on tinkering: built side-projects on top of LLM APIs, evaluated open-source models, or have a strong opinion on agentic frameworks.
• Engineering, computer science, life sciences, or healthcare administration background; MBA is a plus, not a requirement.
How We’ll Measure Success
• First 30 days: deeply understand the product, customers, data, and team; produce a written point-of-view on top 3 opportunities.
• First 60 days: ship a meaningful improvement; align on a quarterly roadmap with clear outcome metrics.
• First 90 days: establish a steady release cadence, a working metrics review, and at least one validated AI-powered feature in production.
Logistics
• Location: Bengaluru
• Hours: expect a working overlap with US Eastern / Central time zones a few days a week.
Compensation: competitive base + performance bonus + ESOPs; commensurate with experienc
