Role Overview

As a Senior Program Manager at Aarvian, you will take the helm of our most ambitious large-scale programs. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of global delivery, managing diverse stakeholders across multiple business units, and ensuring that our Data and AI products integrate seamlessly with varied IT ecosystems. We are looking for a leader who breathes Agile, masters Jira, and understands the unique pulse of the Retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Delivery Excellence: Lead end-to-end delivery of high-scale Data & AI programs across multiple geographies, ensuring cultural and operational alignment.

• Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact for BU leaders and functional heads, translating business requirements into technical roadmaps.

• Agile Governance: Champion Scrum methodologies across teams. Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stands to ensure high-quality, iterative delivery.

• Systems Integration: Manage programs that span multiple data sources, legacy IT systems, and modern cloud tools, ensuring data integrity and architectural alignment.

• Project Controls: Utilize Jira to track progress, manage dependencies, and provide transparent reporting on program health, budgets, and risks.

• Retail Value Realization: Leverage your retail domain knowledge to ensure AI/Data solutions address specific industry challenges like demand forecasting, customer 360, and supply chain optimization.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of core Program Management experience in a technology-driven environment.

• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in managing Data & AI initiatives (e.g., Big Data, ML pipelines, Analytics products).

• Retail Industry Knowledge: Experience working within or for the Retail/E-commerce sector is a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced hands-on expertise in Jira and a deep understanding of the Scrum framework.

• Complexity Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different functions and geographies simultaneously.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management.

Preferred Skills (Industry Standards)

• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) / SAFe certification.

• Product Mindset: Ability to balance “Service Delivery” with “Product Thinking,” especially given Aarvian’s focus on both areas.

• Communication: Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders in Bengaluru and abroad.
