Senior Project Manager – Life Sciences Full Time

Job Description – Project Manager (Life Sciences) – (No Technical PM please.)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Life Sciences industry expertise to lead cross-functional business and operational initiatives. This role requires excellent stakeholder management, structured delivery governance, and proven experience managing projects within regulated environments. The ideal candidate will possess PMP or PRINCE2 certification and demonstrated success delivering complex programs across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across Life Sciences programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders including Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, governance frameworks, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Drive project execution in regulated Life Sciences environments with adherence to GxP, compliance, and quality standards.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, stakeholder workshops, and business reviews to ensure effective decision-making and issue resolution.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints while implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Coordinate change management activities and support organizational readiness for process or operational changes.
• Ensure vendor and third-party deliverables are managed effectively against contractual obligations and project milestones.
• Track project KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to support strategic transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies, governance practices, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Support audit readiness, documentation standards, and compliance activities within Life Sciences programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare industry.
• Mandatory PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Strong experience managing business-focused projects; technical project management experience is not required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in regulated environments and understanding of compliance/governance processes.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies preferred.
