Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer – AI Automation & Python at ApplyWizz, you will design, build, and maintain automation systems, AI-powered tools, backend services, APIs, dashboards, and internal platforms.

You will work closely with founders, product, operations, resume teams, and career associates to convert real business problems into scalable software systems.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong Python skills, backend engineering experience, Generative AI exposure, and the ability to build practical automation systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

1.Design and build automation systems for ApplyWizz’s job application workflow.

2.Build backend services using Python, FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.

3.Develop AI-powered tools for resume analysis, job matching, skill extraction, and career recommendations.

4.Work with LLMs such as GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, or similar models.

5.Build prompt engineering workflows for resume review, job description analysis, candidate-job fit scoring, and internal quality checks.

6.Develop APIs for customer dashboards, admin dashboards, CRM systems, and internal tools.

7.Build automation workflows for operations, resume teams, career associates, managers, and leadership.

8.Integrate third-party APIs, email systems, payment systems, job sources, and AI services.

9.Work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation.

10.Build systems to track job applications, daily progress, client status, resume versions, and team productivity.

11.Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and security of ApplyWizz’s automation systems.

12.Create clean technical architecture, documentation, GitHub repositories, deployment workflows, and release processes.

13.Debug production issues and improve system quality.

14.Mentor junior developers and guide freshers in building production-ready software.

15.Work directly with non-technical teams to understand problems and automate repetitive tasks.
