Primary Skill: ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions for software asset lifecycle management.
• Configure and maintain software models, entitlements, license metrics, reclamation rules, and compliance policies.
• Perform software normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance analysis.
• Integrate SAM Pro with Discovery, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Jamf, ILMT, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.
• Configure SaaS License Management for publishers such as Microsoft 365, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and VMware.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for software usage, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Support software audits, true-up activities, and vendor license reviews.
• Work closely with Procurement, IT Operations, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Implement automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, and Workflows.
• Maintain CMDB data quality and support CSDM alignment for ITAM processes.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and upgrade activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Expertise in Software Asset Management lifecycle, license compliance, and optimization.
• Experience with Software Models, Entitlements, Reconciliation, and Content Library.
• Knowledge of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SAP, IBM, VMware).
• Experience with Discovery, CMDB, ITAM, and ITSM modules.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party asset management tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
