Planning
Collating manpower deployment and canteen usage patterns of different departments and planning the canteen service with the canteen service provider
Providing inputs for OPEX and CAPEX planning and budgeting process
Operational Excellence
Coordinating with departmental managers to implement performance management process forworkmen across functionsthrough usage of automated platforms
Ensuring identification of training needs of workmen for skill upgradation in collaboration with the department heads
Monitoring usage of uniforms and PPEs as per company norms and statutory stipulations, as applicable
Ensuring engagement, deployment and optimum utilization of Apprentices in accordance with statutory guidelines
Budgetary Controls
Tracking and optimizing expenditure with respect to OPEX and CAPEX budgets with special focus on canteen consumables
Compliance
Implementing adherence to systems and processes pertaining to all people policies and processes as well as the Standing Orders
Giving inputs for disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies and statutory norms to enforce compliance in case of deviations
Ensuring implementation ofhealth, safety and environment norms
Ensuring compliance of statutory and regulatory requirement with focus on statutes pertaining to contract labour deployment
Facilitating compliance with IMS principles as process owner for the department
Customer-centricity
Partnering in induction of all new recruits
Ensuring hassle free clearance process for employees leaving the services of the organization
Ensuring clarification of due leave to all employees
Ensuring coverage of all employees under hospitalization insurance benefits
Generating MIS reports with respect to statutory compliance, performance employee engagement activities with respect to staff and workmen.
Minimizing response time
Sustainability and Process Improvement
Participating in Kaizen, Quality Circle, Pride and other such improvement initiatives
Reviewing HSE, safety and productivity issues and implementing improvement action
Partnering digitization initiatives
Ensuring good housekeeping in the department
Partnering creation and maintenance of Green Belt
People development and engagement
Collaborating with people managers to implementtimely performance reviews, evaluation and feedback for all employees in the workmen category across functions
Coordinating celebration of Birthdays, Festival celebration and other employee connect activities for workmen
