Social Media Content Specialist Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily/weekly social media posting across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

• Create and schedule content promoting salon services such as manicures, pedicures, facials, eyelash extensions, IV hydration, and hairstyling.

• Develop content ideas, captions, reels, short videos, before/after posts, service highlights, and promotional posts.

• Help improve lead generation through social media engagement, local targeting, hashtags, and direct messaging support.

• Respond to basic inquiries or help guide prospects toward the salon’s booking link.

• Promote offers, availability, services, and client results to increase appointment bookings.

• Review existing social media pages and booking links to understand the brand, audience, and service menu.

• Track basic performance such as engagement, inquiries, leads, and booked appointments.

• Suggest creative ways to improve visibility, attract local clients, and keep the salon active online.

• Coordinate with the owner for approvals, service details, photos, videos, pricing, and promotional priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience managing social media for a beauty, salon, wellness, spa, or service-based business preferred.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, reels, captions, hashtags, and local engagement strategies.

• Ability to create visually appealing and client-friendly content.

• Basic lead generation mindset with a focus on converting social media activity into appointments.

• Comfortable using Canva or similar design/content tools.

• Good written communication skills for captions, comments, and prospect messages.

• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with booking links, promotions, and service-based customer journeys is an advantage.
