About Docstruct

Docstruct is a B2B AI platform purpose-built for Zero-Touch Document Orchestration — automating the entire lifecycle of document creation, validation, approval, and delivery across enterprises in Insurance and Financial Services.

We eliminate manual handoffs, Maker-Checker bloat, and input fragmentation through a configurable rule engine, an immutable audit chain, and deep integrations with enterprise core systems. Our customers are operations, compliance, and IT leaders in regulated industries across India and Southeast Asia.

This is an early-stage product with a high-conviction team. You will not be a cog. You will build things that matter.

The Opportunity

As a Frontend Intern at Docstruct, you will work directly with our product and engineering team to build and iterate on the core product UI — dashboards, workflow builders, document viewers, and admin interfaces. You will write production-grade code, participate in design reviews, and ship features that real users interact with.

This is not a ‘make internal tools’ internship. You will work on the core product.

What You Will Do

• Build responsive, accessible UI components using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
• Translate product designs (Figma) into pixel-accurate, performant frontend code
• Develop and maintain reusable component libraries aligned to Docstruct’s design system
• Integrate frontend interfaces with REST APIs and handle asynchronous data flows cleanly
• Contribute to workflow builder and rule engine UI — complex, state-heavy interfaces
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and product feedback sessions
• Write clean, well-documented code with a focus on maintainability
• Debug, profile, and optimize frontend performance across browsers and devices

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have

• Solid understanding of React fundamentals — components, props, state, hooks, and context
• Working knowledge of Next.js (App Router or Pages Router — tell us what you know)
• Comfortable with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive layout techniques
• Familiarity with TypeScript or genuine willingness to learn it on the job
• Ability to read and implement from Figma designs
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to consume them from the frontend
• Clean, readable code habits — you care about naming, structure, and maintainability
• Strong problem-solving mindset and intellectual curiosity

Good to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or any utility-first CSS framework
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or similar)
• Exposure to data visualization libraries (Recharts, Chart.js, or similar)
• Basic understanding of authentication flows (JWT, session-based)
• Prior internship, freelance project, or a strong personal/open-source portfolio
• Knowledge of Git workflows and collaborative development practices
• Interest in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or insurtech products
