Role Description As a Software Engineer (Fresher) at Rizen Labs, you will work as part of a small, agile team to design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools that power our GTM and content operations. In this full-time remote role, you will implement features, fix bugs, write clean and testable code, and participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers. You will collaborate with designers, content strategists, and marketing specialists to integrate software solutions with internal dashboards, content pipelines, and analytics systems. On a typical day, you will translate product requirements into technical tasks, contribute to API development, work with databases, and improve system performance and reliability. You will also be encouraged to learn new technologies, follow best practices, and document your work for future reuse and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go).
• Understanding of Software Development practices, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate asynchronously with global team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD, or basic DevOps concepts is a plus.
