Sourcing and Purchasing Lead Full Time

Role Description The Sourcing and Purchasing Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for products and services that support Keystone Commerce’s offerings to gig workers. The person in this role will identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring inventory and demand, analyzing spend data, driving cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring quality and compliance with company standards. The Sourcing and Purchasing Lead will also collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, finance, and partnerships) to align sourcing decisions with business goals, manage vendor relationships, and continuously improve procurement processes.
Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, analyze spend, forecast demand, and optimize sourcing decisions.
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, coordinate with vendors, and present recommendations clearly.
• Proven experience in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms, manage SLAs, and ensure risk mitigation with suppliers.
• Hands-on Procurement experience, including vendor selection, purchase order management, cost control, and process improvement.
• Experience in Recruiting or vendor onboarding to identify, evaluate, and integrate new suppliers and partners as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior experience in sourcing/purchasing in e-commerce, logistics, financial services, or gig-economy platforms is an advantage.
• Proficiency with procurement tools, spreadsheets, and data analysis; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work ethically, maintain transparent vendor relationships, and align decisions with organizational mission.
