Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented SQL Developer Intern who is passionate about working with databases and managing data efficiently. This role offers hands-on experience in database development, query optimization, and data management in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and reporting

• Design and manage database tables, views, and stored procedures

• Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure data accuracy

• Assist in database performance tuning and query optimization

• Work closely with analysts and developers to support data requirements

• Generate reports and support dashboard development

• Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across databases

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts

• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

• Basic knowledge of data normalization and database design

• Understanding of joins, indexing, and query optimization techniques

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to real-world database projects or academic work

• Familiarity with reporting tools or data visualization platforms

• Basic understanding of ETL processes
