About the Role

Lucent Innovation is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Shopify Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Shopify theme development, API integrations, and modern front-end technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Shopify’s Liquid template language, JavaScript-based Shopify extensibility, and building scalable e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work on Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, and Account UI Extensions
• Integrate Shopify Storefront API and Admin API for custom business requirements
• Build and maintain lightweight custom Shopify apps
• Optimize Shopify stores for performance, responsiveness, and scalability
• Collaborate with design, QA, and project teams for high-quality delivery
• Stay updated with Shopify ecosystem updates and implement modern solutions
• Use AI tools to improve development productivity and workflows

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Shopify Storefront API and Admin API (GraphQL)
• Hands-on experience with Shopify extensibility and custom app development
• Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem and third-party integrations
• Experience in scalable and performance-oriented front-end development
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with REST APIs and Git workflows
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Prior experience working on high-traffic e-commerce stores
