Purpose of the Position :

Strategic Marketing Leadership for India Subcontinent Business Growth

• The Indian subcontinent presents a sizable business opportunity in the methionine and specialty nutrition. A dedicated marketing manager is essential to develop and implement targeted marketing strategies that will drive sales growth and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with Evonik’s overall Animal Nutrition business objectives. This involves setting clear goals, identifying target markets, and determining the best approaches to reach those markets.
• Pricing excellence : Maximize profitability and market competitiveness living up to Evonik platform and tools for EN Sirius Pricing and SN value-based pricing strategy driven by precise & real time market intelligence.
• Market Intelligence and data Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape assessment in the animal nutrition sector. Discovery business opportunities in untapped segments via data analysis and interpretation.
• Leverage Brand Value: Strengthen Evonik’s brand presence in the animal nutrition sector. This includes developing marketing communication strategies, managing promotional activities, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
• New product launch: successful product introduction to the market with clear strategy including value proposition and positioning, promotion plans based on comprehensive market analysis behind
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and partners. Engage in regular communication to understand their needs and gather feedback on products and services.
• Product Development and Positioning: Collaborate with R&D and product management teams to develop innovative animal nutrition products. Ensure that these products are effectively positioned in the market to meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
• Innovation and Trends: Keep abreast of emerging trends in animal nutrition, such as sustainability, health and wellness, and technological advancements. Identify opportunities for innovation and adaptation in Evonik’s product offerings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.

Requirement of Position :

• Educational Background: Science graduate with strong exposure to marketing fields such as market intelligence (MI), market research, and project management.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the specialty chemical or relevant industry, preferably within the livestock sector, in roles such as marketing specialist or product management specialist.
• Demonstrated track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns, with a strategic thinking mindset.
• Candidate preferred with knowledge of the animal nutrition industry with good understanding of the animal nutrition industry, including the different types of animal feed, supplements, and additives.
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing marketing communication strategies, including digital marketing, advertising, and public relations.
• Strong analytical skills with sufficient experience in developing and executing marketing intelligence strategies, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and public relations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and collaborative spirit, with the ability to build diverse relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
