Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Philosophy Expert to work on a contractor basis. This person will apply their expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. With no prior experience in AI required, the focus is on domain knowledge, which matters in this role. The client is a global leader in the AI industry, developing frontier models through advanced evaluations and reinforcement learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze, interpret, and annotate complex philosophical texts for AI consumption to ensure accurate and contextual understanding.
• Provide nuanced feedback on philosophical content accuracy and context within AI systems, ensuring the integrity of outputs.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure philosophical integrity in AI outputs, addressing potential biases and ethical considerations.
• Develop and review prompts that leverage philosophical concepts and frameworks to enhance AI system performance.
• Identify biases and ethical considerations in data and training processes, facilitating discussions and workshops to enhance overall system quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in philosophy, with a strong understanding of complex philosophical concepts and frameworks.
• Excellent critical analysis, interpretation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience with content annotation, digital research, and AI ethics, or a willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including engineers and data scientists.
• Familiarity with AI systems and their applications, particularly in areas like finance, healthcare, engineering, and education.
