Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Student Counselor based in our Thrissur office. The Student Counselor will provide detailed guidance to students interested in studying abroad, including counseling on course and career options, assisting with university applications, and offering support for visas and scholarships. Responsibilities also include maintaining student records, following up with students to ensure a seamless process, and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires ensuring students make informed choices about their education and career paths while addressing their queries effectively and empathetically.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide individuals through educational and career decisions
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with diverse students and stakeholders
• Customer Service skills to maintain professional and supportive relationships with students and their families
• Knowledge of the international education sector, including admission procedures, visas, and scholarship opportunities
• Proficiency in educational platforms and tools; Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, or related fields preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of customer care
• Experience in overseas education consultancy is an advantage
