System Administrator (0–6 Months Experience)Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer / System Administrator with 0–6 months of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide end-user technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth functioning of systems and devices across the organization. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of operating systems and hardware, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 (L1) technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues through remote and on-site assistance.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems including Windows 11 and macOS, along with various software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, including upgrades and component replacements.
• Support and manage Microsoft 365 applications and productivity tools.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and Group Policies within Active Directory.
• Manage Google Workspace administration tasks such as user creation, password resets, email forwarding, and group management.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues proactively, and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and other networking issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and hardware/software inventory.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects including deployments, migrations, upgrades, and system implementations.
• Educate users on IT security best practices and efficient system usage.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and other departments to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–6 months of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or System Administration.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users in both English and Kannada.
• Good written communication skills for documentation, updates, and support communication.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and macOS environments.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, including troubleshooting, assembly, and component replacement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Google Admin Console.
• Basic experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Exposure to endpoint security solutions including antivirus and anti-malware tools.

Pay: ₹9,914.50 – ₹15,000.00 per month
