System Administrator – IT Full Time NEW

Seeking a System Administrator for a tech brand in Mumbai!

Key Responsiblities

• Manage and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, and end-user devices, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and compliance with company policies.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network-connected devices.
• Perform regular system audits, software updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain security, stability, and operational efficiency.
• Administer software licenses, monitor compliance requirements, and manage software inventory across the organization.
• Ensure endpoint security through antivirus management, security monitoring, incident response, malware remediation, and implementation of best-practice security measures.
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory and other identity management systems.
• Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user collaboration tools.
• Assist employees with email configuration, account management, password resets, troubleshooting, and technical support requests.
• Manage WiFi networks, internet connectivity, network performance, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems to ensure reliable access, data storage, and backup processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors for the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and related services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT System Administrator, IT Support Engineer, or a similar IT infrastructure role of at least 2 years
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Windows administration, and collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions, antivirus software, access management, and IT security best practices.
• Experience managing WiFi networks, NAS devices, internet connectivity, and general IT infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP/MCITP), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
