Tax – BPS – Accounting – Manager – Hyderabad Full Time

Position Summary

Join Deloitte’s USI Tax practice as a Manager, Tax Services supporting U.S. tax accounting and reporting engagements. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of work focused on GAAP conversion, statutory financial statements, and reporting processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply technical accounting knowledge, and help drive quality, consistency, and efficiency in delivery.

Work you’ll do

As a Manager, Tax Services on the USI Tax team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing engagements involving GAAP conversion, bridge file preparation, and statutory financial statement reporting
• Preparing statutory financial statements, including notes disclosures, in accordance with applicable reporting requirements
• Applying United States generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and accrual-based accounting concepts in the delivery of client work
• Using reporting and data tools, including Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, and Microsoft Excel, to support financial reporting and data analysis
• Coordinating with team members across locations to manage delivery timelines, quality, risk, and compliance requirements

The team

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“USI Tax”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service offerings have obtained support through the USI Tax teams.

We are leading its clients through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace, offering a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to comply with the reporting requirements, uncover insights and deploy approaches for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s degree in finance or accounting
• 7-11 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or tax reporting
• Experience preparing GAAP conversion bridge files and statutory financial statements, including notes disclosures
• Experience applying US GAAP or IFRS in a financial reporting environment
• Experience using reporting tools such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, or similar platforms
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for financial data management, analysis, and reporting
• Ability to work rotational shifts

Preferred:

• Experience supporting U.S.-based tax or accounting engagements
• Experience managing multiple engagements, timelines, and deliverables
• Experience coordinating with teams across multiple locations
• Experience identifying process improvements or automation opportunities in reporting workflows.
