Position Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead – SEO with 4–6 years of experience to manage and grow SEO performance across multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on SEO expertise, good analytical skills, and prior experience handling a small team while working closely with clients and cross-functional teams.
You will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies, improving organic visibility, driving website traffic, and ensuring successful campaign delivery across different industries.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple client accounts
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits
- Drive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives
- Monitor search engine algorithm updates and implement best practices
- Work on content optimization strategies to improve rankings and traffic
Client Management
- Handle day-to-day communication with clients for SEO-related activities
- Share regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations
- Understand client business goals and align SEO strategies accordingly
Team Management
- Lead and mentor SEO executives and analysts
- Review team deliverables and ensure quality execution
- Support team learning and development through regular guidance and training
Technical SEO & Optimization
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, and website structure
- Coordinate with developers and content teams for implementation
- Manage link-building and outreach activities
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Monitor KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and engagement metrics
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a small SEO team
- Knowledge of content optimization and SEO reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
