Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Team Member Banquet role based in Chennai. The team member will support banquet operations, including setting up event spaces, arranging tables and chairs, preparing service stations, and ensuring the event area is clean and presentable. Daily responsibilities include assisting with food and beverage service, replenishing buffet counters, clearing tables, and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to deliver smooth event experiences. The role also involves greeting guests, responding to guest needs professionally, following hygiene and safety standards, and adhering to company service protocols. The team member will work closely with supervisors and colleagues to ensure events run on schedule and meet quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, professional guest service and communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Experience or strong interest in banquet operations, restaurant or hotel service, and basic food & beverage handling.
• Attention to detail in setting up banquet spaces, maintaining cleanliness, and following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
• Prior experience in hospitality or events is an advantage; basic education and on-the-job training will be provided.
