Voorent is building a new-age peer-to-peer (P2P) rental platform that enables users to rent and monetize assets such as furniture, appliances, and other household items. We are creating the entire platform from scratch and are looking for passionate builders who want hands-on startup experience.

Role Overview

As a Tech Intern, you will work directly with the founders to build and launch our P2P rental marketplace from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role—you will be involved in creating the product end-to-end, leveraging AI-assisted development (Vibe Coding), modern development tools, and your own technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build core platform features from scratch.
• Develop user, owner, and admin dashboards.
• Design and implement rental workflows, listings, bookings, payments, and user management systems.
• Use AI-powered coding tools and Vibe Coding methodologies to accelerate development.
• Work on frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Collaborate on product architecture and technical decision-making.
• Test, debug, and optimize platform performance.
• Take ownership of features from idea to deployment.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of web or app development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, etc.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
• Passion for building products and experimenting with new technologies.
