Technical Intern (ADAS & Automotive) Full Time

We’re hiring: Technical Intern (ADAS & Automotive) — VisionDrive Automotive, Bangalore

VisionDrive is an automotive engineering consultancy startup focused on ADAS, vehicle validation, and performance testing and feature development support, working with leading OEMs and Tier-1s. 

Above everything else, here’s what matters most: genuine hunger and passion for the automotive sector. You want to be around real cars, on real test tracks, solving real problems. The technical depth can be taught — that drive can’t.

What you’d do:

• Get to know the global test protocols — Euro NCAP, NHTSA, IIHS, Bharat NCAP. 

• Build tools that make processing different test data into understandable reports.

• Travel to proving grounds for on-track ADAS testing — a.k.a. watching cars brake hard for crash-test dummies (yes, this is the fun part)

• Help with test execution, documentation, and reporting on real validation projects.

What you’ll need:

• Foundational grounding in automotive engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field — through ongoing or recently completed studies

• Real interest in ADAS and vehicle safety systems, with a basic grasp of sensors, control systems, and vehicle dynamics

• Comfort with technical tools and data — solid basics in Excel or similar; familiarity with Python, or comparable environments is a real plus (AI assistance welcome).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research instincts, with real attention to detail in test execution, documentation, and reporting.

• Clear written and verbal communication — you can document findings and work well across a cross-functional engineering team.

• Bengaluru-based, able to work on-site when the task calls for it, manage your own time, and follow structured test procedures and safety guidelines.

Bonus points for:

• Exposure to automotive standards, vehicle testing, HIL/SIL environments, or embedded systems

• Hands-on interest in mobility, motorsports, robotics, or related projects, student competitions, or internships.

The honest bits:

• Hybrid — desk, lab, and track days, depending on what’s on

• Startup pace — some days run long, some are short, and no two weeks look the same

• Small team, real talk — when things get busy, you’ll lend a hand with some admin and odd jobs too. We all wear a few hats here, and I’d ask you to bear with that
