Transport Supervisor cum Accountant- Andheri West Full Time

We are looking for a responsible candidate who can manage both transport operations and basic

accounting tasks. The role involves coordinating logistics, supervising drivers, and maintaining

financial records related to transport activities.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Supervisor Duties:

Plan and monitor daily transport operations

Schedule and assign drivers and vehicles

Ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods

Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance

Handle transport-related issues such as delays or breakdowns

Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Accounting Duties

Maintain daily cash and expense records

Record transport-related expenses (fuel, toll, repairs, etc.)

Prepare invoices and follow up on payments

Make entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally / ERP)

Assist in monthly reporting and reconciliation

Handle basic GST and tax documentation (if required)

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com preferred)

25 years of experience in transport/logistics and accounting

Knowledge of accounting software (Tally)

Basic knowledge of MS Excel

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities

Preferred Skills

Experience in logistics or transport industry

Knowledge of GST and compliance

Team handling experience (drivers/helpers)
