Tunnel Foreman Full Time NEW

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Tunnel Foreman (NATM Tunneling) to join our project execution team for an ongoing underground infrastructure project. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge and practical experience in NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method), along with the ability to lead tunneling operations efficiently under challenging ground and site conditions.

This position demands a responsible individual who can independently handle the day-to-day tunneling activities, guide the workforce, and ensure that excavation, support systems, and safety standards are implemented in accordance with approved designs and project specifications. The selected candidate will play a vital role in achieving construction milestones while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in tunnel construction, specifically with hands-on involvement in NATM tunneling methodology.
• Strong working knowledge of excavation sequences, ground classification, shotcrete application, and instrumentation monitoring.
• Proven track record in handling tunneling activities for metro, road, or hydro projects.
• Sound understanding of tunnel safety systems, ventilation, dewatering, and lighting arrangements.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Capable of supervising large site teams and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Proficient in reporting, Site Permit Compliances, and day-to-day site communication.
• Willingness to work in shifts and under variable underground conditions.
