Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for an IoT and VLSI Trainer based in Kochi. The trainer will deliver classroom and lab-based sessions on IoT and VLSI concepts, tools, and applications to students and early-career professionals. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating training materials, designing hands-on projects, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves collaborating with academic or corporate stakeholders to align course content with current industry standards and certification requirements. The trainer will also mentor participants on career paths, support internships or project work, and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs.
Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in IoT, embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, and related development platforms.
• Proficiency in VLSI concepts, digital design, HDL (such as Verilog/VHDL), simulation tools, and basic FPGA/ASIC design flows.
• Experience designing and delivering structured training programs, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and practical lab setup.
• Ability to guide learners through end-to-end projects, from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse learner groups.
• Prior experience as a corporate trainer, faculty member, or technical mentor in IoT, VLSI, or related electronics/embedded domains is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with current industry trends, tools, and best practices in semiconductor, embedded, and IoT ecosystems.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability in managing batches, schedules, and learner progress tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, academic partners, and corporate clients to deliver high-quality training outcomes.
