The role focuses on financial planning, cost control, compliance, and driving data-backed business decisions within a manufacturing setup. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Monitor actuals vs budget and perform variance analysis
- Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions
Costing Manufacturing Finance
- Manage product costing and cost structures
- Track raw material, labour, and overhead costs
- Analyse production efficiency and drive cost optimization
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation
Accounting Reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare financial statements, MIS, and management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
Working Capital Management
- Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory levels
- Optimize cash flow and working capital cycles
Compliance Audits
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and tax laws
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Strengthen internal financial controls
Taxation
- Handle GST, income tax, and statutory filings
- Ensure timely returns and reconciliations
Team Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor finance team
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams
- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiency
Key Skills
- Manufacturing Costing Inventory Accounting
- Budgeting, Forecasting Financial Analysis
- ERP Systems (Tally / Microsoft Dynamics Navision / SAP)
- GST Statutory Compliance
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
Preferred Background
- Experience in Manufacturing / FMCG / Pharma industry
- Exposure to plant finance or factory operations
