US D2C Performance Marketing Lead

The opportunity
Marani Gold is a luxury, premium honey brand launching in the United States. We are building a digital-first D2C business and need a performance marketing leader who can take a high-AOV, luxury product to market and make it move.
This is a hands-on, execution-first role for someone who has scaled premium or luxury D2C brands in the US, owns the full performance and influencer engine, and knows how to sell a story, not just a SKU.
What you will own
Performance marketing Own paid acquisition end to end across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and emerging channels. Build and scale campaigns profitably against a luxury price point, manage budget and CAC/ROAS targets, and run the full funnel from prospecting to retention. Set up clean attribution, testing, and reporting so every dollar is accountable.
Influencer and creator marketing Design and run an influencer program built for a luxury audience: identify and close the right creators, gifting and tastemaker partnerships, UGC pipelines, and affiliate structures. Turn creator content into a performance channel, not just awareness.
Brand-led growth Translate a premium brand into conversion. Shape positioning, messaging, and creative that protect the luxury feel while driving sales. Partner on landing pages, offers, and lifecycle (email/SMS) to lift LTV.
Channel and marketplace Drive D2C site growth and support the Amazon US presence with performance media and content. Test new acquisition channels and double down on what works.
Insight and iteration Own the data. Read buyer behavior, creative performance, and channel economics, then iterate fast. Report results and learnings to the founding team in a clear, decision-ready way.
Who you are
You bring 6+ years in US D2C performance marketing, with real depth scaling premium, luxury, or high-AOV brands (beauty, gourmet food, wellness, lifestyle, or similar).
You have personally run and scaled paid media (Meta and Google at minimum, ideally TikTok and Amazon) with full P&L accountability for CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin. You have built influencer and creator programs from the ground up and made them perform.
You understand luxury. You know how to grow aggressively without cheapening the brand, and you can hold the line between performance pressure and premium positioning.
You are analytical and hands-on, comfortable in the ad managers and the spreadsheets, and you
operate independently in an early-stage, 0 to 1 environment.
A US-based network of creators, agencies, and platform partners is a strong plus.
