Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Mumbai, with an option for some remote work. The role involves implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure workplace compliance and promote a safe work environment. The specialist will conduct risk assessments, oversee occupational health initiatives, deliver safety training, and ensure adherence to EHS regulations. Collaboration with management and staff is essential for continuously improving safety protocols and minimizing risks.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety regulations
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health management
- Skills in delivering Safety Training and promoting safety awareness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse teams
- Keen attention to detail and capability to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications in EHS or Occupational Health are advantageous
