Vice President of Accounting Full Time

Established under the leadership of Padmaja Reddy, the organization leverages technology and deep domain expertise to provide a range of secured and semi-secured financial products, including gold loans, micro-enterprise loans, loan against property, and housing finance. 

Role Overview:

Lead the Accounts & Taxation function, driving financial reporting, taxation, treasury, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. The role will ensure adherence to Ind AS, RBI regulations, and statutory requirements, while partnering with leadership on financial planning, governance, and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Financial Reporting & Controls:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.

• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements under Indian Accounting Standards.

• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.

• Strengthen and monitor Internal Financial Controls.

✅ Regulatory Compliance & Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of India regulations applicable to Non-Banking Financial Companies.

• Manage Goods and Services Tax, Tax Deducted at Source, Income Tax filings, and tax planning.

• Oversee timely submission of Registrar of Companies and Reserve Bank of India returns.

✅ Treasury & Asset Liability Management:

• Monitor liquidity and cash flow requirements.

• Support fund-raising initiatives and maintain banking relationships.

• Manage Asset Liability Management reporting and monitoring.

✅ Strategic Planning & Business Finance:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to business teams.

• Support initiatives to improve Net Interest Margin and operational efficiency.

Desired Qualification:

• Finance, Commerce, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong expertise in Indian Accounting Standards and financial reporting

• Prior experience in NBFC accounting and Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.

• Exposure to group accounting and consolidation.

• Proven team management experience.
