Job summary:

Vastu Vihar Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President – Pioneer Corn Seeds (Bihar Division). This executive leader will spearhead the strategic growth, research partnership, production, and commercial expansion of high-yielding hybrid corn seeds across Bihar. The ideal candidate will blend deep agronomic expertise with sharp commercial acumen to establish our brand as a market leader.

Key Responsibility:

Strategic Leadership

• Define Growth: Develop long-term business strategies for the hybrid corn seed portfolio in Bihar.

• Market Expansion: Identify untapped rural markets and design targeted penetration strategies.

• P&L Management: Own the regional budget, revenue targets, and cost-optimization initiatives.

Operations & Supply Chain

• Production Oversight: Manage large-scale seed production programs with local grower networks.

• Quality Control: Ensure seed processing, treatment, and packaging meet international standards.

• Logistics Management: Streamline supply chains to ensure timely seed delivery before sowing seasons.

Commercial & Government Relations

Distribution Network: Build and scale a robust network of distributors, dealers, and retailers.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaison with Bihar’s Department of Agriculture, universities, and research bodies.

Farmer Outreach: Oversee field demonstrations, kisan melas, and educational campaigns for farmers.

Required Qualification:

Ph.D. in Agriculture science

Experience:

• Duration: 10+ years of progressive experience in the seed or agricultural input industry.

• Leadership: Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM, Business Head, or VP level).
