We’re a fully remote organization with 5 (soon to be 6 👋) teammates, including our Founder, Chief Content Officer/Operations Officer, two part-time Writers, and a part-time Admin. We’re headquartered in southeastern Michigan, with teammates spread across Iowa, upstate New York, and Texas.

About the Role
We’re looking for a remote Video Podcast Editor to own the editing function across our client podcasts and social content — bringing a marketer’s eye and a storyteller’s instincts to every piece of content that leaves our hands.
In this role, you’ll edit long-form video podcast episodes and short-form social clips for a roster of high-achieving women founders, working from creative briefs developed by our Chief Content Officer. You’ll balance technical precision with editorial judgment: finding the narrative thread in an episode, pulling the most magnetic moment for a reel, and always keeping the audience and marketing objective in view.

Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 3–5 years of experience in roles like Video Editor, Video Podcast Editor, Multimedia Editor, Content Producer, or related content production roles. You have strong technical chops in Premiere Pro and a marketer’s instinct for what makes content land — you understand why you’re picking a clip, not just how to cut it. You think in hooks and through-lines. You have taste — you know what good looks like, and it shows without anyone having to tell you. You don’t need to be managed; you need to be briefed. You’re comfortable in a growing operation where not everything is figured out yet, and you bring a steady, solutions-oriented presence to the work. And this part matters: you’re genuinely energized by amplifying women’s voices in business.
Performance Metrics: Your performance will be measured by revision count (the goal is one or fewer per deliverable, trending toward zero), brief comprehension and proactive communication, on-time delivery, and the quality of your editorial and marketing instincts as reflected in feedback.
Reporting Structure: You’ll work closely with our Chief Content Officer/Operations Officer and clients. This position reports directly to the Chief Content Officer/Operations Officer.

Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), Exclusivity Preferred
Working Hours: Minimum 4 hours of daily overlap between 9AM–1PM ET; remaining hours async. Adjusts with Daylight Saving Time.
Education: No formal degree required; relevant work experience is what counts
Level: Intermediate (3–5 years of relevant work experience)
Compensation: ~USD $773–$913 (INR 72K–85K) per month, based on experience. Structured as a Consultant Agreement (independent contractor), meaning you’ll be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and insurance.
