About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and creative Video Producer who can independently manage video projects from ideation to final delivery. This role requires someone who can balance creative storytelling with production execution, ensuring high-quality content is delivered on time and aligned with brand objectives.

As a Video Producer, you will be responsible for planning shoots, directing on-ground productions, coordinating with cinematographers and editors, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple locations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to create engaging content across various formats, including campus stories, testimonials, documentaries, podcasts, events, and branded content.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Own the end-to-end production process from pre-production to final delivery.
• Develop production plans, shoot schedules, call sheets, and logistics for video projects.
• Coordinate locations, talent, permissions, equipment, and travel requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered within timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Direction & Storytelling

• Translate content briefs into compelling visual narratives.
• Direct on-ground shoots and guide talent, students, faculty, and interviewees during filming.
• Ensure footage aligns with creative objectives, brand guidelines, and storytelling requirements.
• Capture authentic and engaging content across different formats and environments.

Shoot Management

• Lead and coordinate field shoots across campuses, events, and external locations.
• Work closely with cinematographers to achieve the desired visual quality.
• Troubleshoot production challenges on-site and make quick decisions to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain consistency in production quality across all projects.

Post-Production Coordination

• Collaborate with editors to ensure the final output matches the creative vision.
• Review edits and provide actionable feedback throughout the post-production process.
• Ensure timely approvals and stakeholder alignment before final delivery.
• Maintain quality control across video, audio, graphics, and storytelling.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Content, Design, and Operations teams to understand project objectives.
• Manage communication with stakeholders throughout the production lifecycle.
• Gather requirements, align expectations, and incorporate feedback effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in video production, direction, content creation, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, shoot planning, and storytelling techniques.
• Experience managing on-ground shoots and coordinating with creative teams.
• Familiarity with cinematography, lighting, audio, and video production equipment.
• Basic understanding of video editing workflows and post-production processes.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and field-based work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience producing documentary-style, educational, testimonial, podcast, or branded content.
• Strong visual storytelling and content ideation abilities.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar creative tools.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup, education, media, or content-driven environments.
