We are a bootstrapped initiative called Binary Interactive. We are a small, self-funded team proudly building from the ground up right here in Karnataka. Together, we are working on creating software, web and mobile applications, interactive stories, and media
Right now, we have exactly zero revenue. This entire operation is self-funded by the Lead. We are not a traditional, established company. We are a laboratory trying to figure things out, and we fully expect to make mistakes along the way.
That is exactly why we need a crew.
The Deal: Intellectual Takeaway Over Money
We are looking for completely raw beginners. Please do not worry about sending a polished portfolio, and it is perfectly fine if you have never built a single thing in your life. We all start somewhere. We want to bring you in because we are ready to educate you, share what we know, and dive into the deep end together.
We will never charge you a single rupee to learn with us. In return, our current stipend budget per intern is strictly ₹0 to ₹2,000 per month. This is distributed based purely on your effort and the milestones we manage to reach together.
We genuinely wish we could offer market salaries from day one, but we are still earning our stripes. If you need a secure, immediate paycheck, we completely respect that this might not be the right fit for you right now.
But if you want a zero pressure environment where it is safe to fail as long as we learn from it and you are willing to put in the work alongside us as we try to build sustainable products, you belong here.
Who We Need For Our Lab Crew
We are looking for people ready to put in the effort. Crucially, you will not be boxed into just one job. You will have the freedom to move between any of these roles based entirely on what sparks your interest on a given day.
Role 1: Digital Marketing & Multimedia (Intern) The Mission: Build our audience and manage our media pipeline. Together, we will synthesize and build workflows to scale high-fidelity visual and audio assets. The Tool Stack: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Meta Business Suite, Remotion, and modern generative media pipelines.
Role 2: Full-Stack & Game Developer (Intern) The Mission: Turn concepts into actual products. We will guide the architecture and the logic; together, we will write the code that makes app interfaces, 2D game loops, databases, and more. The Tool Stack: Flutter, Android Studio, Dart, React, JavaScript, Java, MongoDB, and Vercel.
Role 3: UI/UX & Visual Design (Intern) The Mission: Shape how our digital products look and feel. We will design intuitive mobile app screens, game menus, and striking social media aesthetics. The Tool Stack: Figma, Canva, and procedural design workflows.
Role 4: Content Research & Storytelling (Intern) The Mission: Find the pulse of our narratives. We will research historical events for our games, write engaging scripts for our media channels, and hunt down relevant current affairs using advanced data synthesis. The Tool Stack: Notion, Google Workspace, and advanced research frameworks.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
Common Sense & Humility: We rely heavily on common sense to survive. We need the kind of common sense that isn’t afraid to take a calculated risk on a ₹0 startup. We need people who are humble enough to ask questions and bold enough to try finding the answers.
Language: Can you communicate your thoughts fluently in both Kannada and English? That is a massive plus for us.
Location: Are you based in Mandya or the surrounding districts? We love collaborating locally, but this is a plus, not a strict requirement. If your drive is strong enough, we can absolutely make the distance work.
Mindset: Are you genuinely curious on a daily basis about the content we push and the code we write? This is the one thing that is mandatory.
Bonus: Do you own a MacBook or an iPad and have no idea how to start coding or designing? We will gladly show you.
What You Actually Get
Formal Letter of Recommendation & Certificate: If you complete a minimum of three months with us, you will receive a formal Letter of Recommendation tied directly to our Lead’s LinkedIn account. It will exactly detail your contributions, your insights, and the real work you did. This is essential for your university credits and future job applications.
Live Portfolio Projects: You will work on real world code deployed on Vercel or active media content on live brand accounts. You will leave here with the portfolio you didn’t have when you started.
Premium Tool Access: If a task requires specific software or advanced processing tools, we will provide the access or sandbox environment you need to get it done.
