We are hiring a Category Manager for GemsMantra.
GemsMantra is one of India’s growing spiritual commerce brands dealing in authentic gemstones, rudraksha, bracelets, kavach, yantras and Vedic products.
We need someone who can own the category like a business, not just manage listings.
Position: Category Manager

Key Responsibilities:
– Own category revenue, margin, assortment, pricing and growth
– Manage gemstones, rudraksha, bracelets and spiritual product categories
– Identify bestsellers, slow-moving products, stock gaps and new product opportunities
– Work with purchase, inventory, marketing, sales and website teams
– Improve product listings, product titles, images, descriptions and conversion quality
– Plan offers, bundles, upsells and cross-sells to increase AOV
– Track product performance, sell-through, inventory aging, returns and customer demand
– Coordinate new product launches from sourcing to website listing to sales push
– Build category-level reports for revenue, margin, stock, conversion and profitability
Ideal Candidate:
– Experience in e-commerce, D2C, retail, jewellery, fashion, beauty, wellness or lifestyle categories
– Strong understanding of product assortment, pricing, inventory and category growth
– Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and data-based decision making
– Good coordination skills with multiple teams
– Strong ownership mindset and execution discipline
– Experience in jewellery, gemstones, spiritual products or premium D2C brands will be a plus
This role is for someone who can think like a mini-CEO of the category.
