Head – Wedding Planning & Events
Chandigarh | Full-Time | Senior Leadership Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Wedding Planning & Execution
- End-to-end planning of multi-function weddings (Roka, Mehendi, Sangeet, Cocktail, Pheras, Reception)
- Design personalised concepts aligned with couple’s vision, culture & budget
- Build event timelines, vendor briefings & day-of runsheets
- Venue walkthroughs, décor approvals & on-ground supervision
- On-the-spot contingency management
2. Sales & Business Development
- Own wedding & banquet revenue targets for Tricity market
- Generate leads via networking, bridal expos & digital campaigns
- Prepare customised proposals & close deals with HNI clients
- Maintain pipeline of enquiries, follow-ups & bookings
- Build alliances with venues, travel agents & luxury brands
3. Vendor & Operations
- Source, negotiate & manage contracts with decorators, caterers, photographers & artists
- Maintain curated vendor network with quality benchmarks
- Coordinate with hotel banquet, F&B & housekeeping for integrated delivery
- Oversee guest rooms, transportation & group check-in for multi-day events
4. Team Leadership
- Build, mentor & manage team of coordinators & on-ground staff
- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews & build culture of excellence
- Manage departmental budgets, vendor payments & P&L
- Maintain MIS reports, client records & post-event documentation
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Event Management, Tourism or Hospitality — preferred
- Certified Wedding/Event Planner (CWEP / AIEPD) — preferred, not mandatory
Core Skills:
- Communication: Fluent English, Hindi & Punjabi
- Sales: Consultative selling & deal closure with HNI clients
- Ops: MS Office, CRM tools & event planning software
- Network: Established relationships with venues & vendors in Punjab & Haryana
