Experience: 5 years – 10 years

Key Responsibilities

 Administer, maintain, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and

Windows Server environments, including patching, upgrades, performance

tuning, and troubleshooting.

 Provide after-hours on-call support as part of a 24×7 production operations

rotation, ensuring timely incident resolution.

 Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using standard monitoring

tools; proactively identify and resolve issues.

 Implement and manage change management processes, ensuring all

infrastructure changes are planned, documented, tested, and executed in

compliance with standards.

 Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and incident response in

alignment with enterprise security best practices.

 Support and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, vCenter,

and Red Hat OpenStack.

 Collaborate with network, database, security, and application teams to ensure

seamless infrastructure integration and operational stability.

 Participate in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning,

testing, and execution.

 Automate operational and administrative tasks using Ansible, Python,

PowerShell, or Bash to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

 Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations,

procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

 Server Administration: RHEL and Windows Server (3–5 years)

 Networking Concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing (3–5 years)

 Security Fundamentals: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management (3–5

years)

 Virtualization: VMware vSphere, vCenter, Red Hat OpenStack (3–5 years)

 Automation & Scripting: Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Bash (3–5 years)
