Workday expert Full Time

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Workday expert at SSMT Solutions. The Workday expert will configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules to support HR, finance, and related business processes. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing and implementing Workday solutions, performing data uploads, and troubleshooting system issues. The role also involves creating and maintaining documentation, building reports and dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and security within Workday. The Workday expert will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support enhancements, testing, integrations, and user training.
Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Workday configuration and administration, including core HCM and at least one additional module (such as Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, or Talent).
• Proficiency with Workday reporting and analytics, including custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and basic data modeling.
• Experience with Workday integrations and data management, including EIBs, data loads, testing, and troubleshooting interfaces.
• Solid understanding of HR and/or finance business processes and the ability to translate requirements into effective Workday solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Prior experience supporting Workday in a consulting, IT, or shared services setting; experience in a fast-paced tech or services organization is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant Workday certifications and ongoing learning in Workday updates and best practices are highly desirable.
