We’re looking for a YouTube Lead to own this channel for our customers — turning video into a durable engine for visibility, trust, and demand.

About the role
As YouTube Lead, you’ll own YouTube strategy and execution across a set of customer accounts, working inside our Organic Growth pods. You’ll shape what each brand publishes, how it’s packaged, and how the channel grows over time. You’ll have playbooks, AI workflows, and a strong team behind you.
What you’ll do
- Own each customer’s YouTube strategy: positioning, content pillars, formats, and cadence
- Turn topics into video concepts that earn both search and suggested-feed discovery
- Drive strong packaging — titles, thumbnails, hooks, and retention — because that’s what decides whether a video wins
- Build briefs and direction the production team and creators can execute on
- Grow channels deliberately: search-led evergreen video plus content built to be recommended
- Repurpose video into clips and other formats so each piece works harder across channels
- Track performance (impressions, CTR, retention, watch time, subscribers) and report it clearly

This is the heart of the role:
- Understand the two engines of YouTube discovery — search and suggested — and how to win each
- Know what drives the algorithm: click-through rate, retention, and satisfaction, and how to design for them
- Build evergreen, search-led video that compounds, alongside content engineered to be recommended
- Understand how YouTube feeds Google results and AI-driven discovery, and use that to extend reach
- Have a real point of view on packaging and storytelling, not just keywords
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on YouTube experience — you’ve grown a channel or run YouTube content and understand why videos win or stall
- A confident grasp of YouTube SEO, packaging, and retention
- An understanding of how YouTube connects to broader search and AI discovery
- Strong creative judgment plus comfort with data
- An ownership mindset and comfort working across a few accounts
- Comfort using AI tools to work faster — we’ll help you level up
Nice to have
- A track record of growing a YouTube channel (your own or a brand’s)
- Experience with scripting, editing direction, or video production workflows
- A background in organic growth, content, or video marketing
