The Systems Administrator would report to the Manager of Systems Engineering performing functions related to the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure supporting the business including data center operations, hardware, operating systems, user administration, virtualization, and backups and recovery of the environment. This person would work closely with team members around the globe to provide 24×7 support including occasional on-call responsibilities. Sr. Systems Administrator must be able to work well with others, taking direction from team leads to complete his/her own projects, while acquiring information from the team as needed. This person would work to maintain the current environment and meet the needs of users on a day to day basis. The Sr. Systems Administrator will be able to solve problems injecting his/her own experience, assisting less experience team members to complete tasks and developing documentation for standard operating procedures.
